Did you know Park's own Ms. Downing-Peltier is trained in Molecular gastronomy? Through a grant from Park's Parent's Association she has started a very popular cooking club at ASP using a brand new induction oven.
Her cooking class with take place in the ASP building on a date mutually agreed upon by instructor and participants. You and your child will make Caesar salad, pizza and cupcakes for dessert while learning the science of emulsification, the chemical reactions that make cakes rise and explore the science behind making light, crispy pizza crust and answer the question "why is mozzarella so stretchy?".
This culinary experience has 10 parent/child spots available for $30 per duo. Act fast!
