Item Description
The long white cane is a valuable tool for people who are blind and visually impaired. The cane becomes an extension of the user's arm providing critical safety information to the user when they are traveling from place to place.
The white cane is also an international symbol that alerts other people that the person using it has a visual impairment.
IN-SIGHT provides white canes at no charge to people who participate in orientation and mobility training through our agency and at a reduced fee for people who need replacement canes.
You can help support the independence of a person with a visual impairment by purchasing a white cane that will be provided to a future orientation and mobility student. Your generous support will be recognized with a tag on the white cane indicating "this cane is a gift from <your name>." Donors may also opt to remain anonymous or make the gift in honor or memory of a loved one.
