Hop on board Captain Blue's Ship for a storytelling adventure and become a published author!
On Saturday, May 16, 10am to 12:30pm, join WPE parent Kavitha Lotun, Captain Blue, and their crew for a storytelling and bookmaking workshop. Students work together to create the characters, setting, plot and unique ending. Then the head editor, Captain Blue, gives the stamp of approval!
Workshop includes a pirate eye patch, drinks, snacks and a published book to take home!
West Portal Elementary students in all grades are welcome. Siblings are welcome with the purchase of additional tickets.
This workshop is best for students who are comfortable writing or drawing their ideas. Students are to be dropped off and picked up at 826 Valencia Street in the Mission District of SF.
