Donate An Item
Dear Friend of the Lloyd Center,
I hope this message finds you healthy and in renewed spirits for 2021. The Lloyd Center's Clambake, "36 years of Celebrating Science and Education" will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021. Given the continuing health crisis, we expect to offer both our well-received Meals to Go and the Silent Auction in online form again.
A significant amount is always generated through the wonderful collection of items donated by generous local artists, artisans, businesses, and individuals. The online auction offers high visibility to businesses - with logo inclusion online and direct links to your website - and we expect record participation again among both year-round and summer residents.
All contributors will be individually listed on the Bidding for Good website, on the Lloyd Center's social platforms, as well as in local newspapers. Listings will include a description of the item, the donor, and the donor's contact information. Of course, for those who wish to remain anonymous, we will respect your desire for privacy.
We wish to gather as many exciting auction items as feasible this year, and we hope that you will respond favorably if circumstances permit.
To donate an item to this auction, you will be asked to provide some information below about the item you would like to donate. Digital pictures of your donation would be appreciated. The auction committee will contact you by email, or phone if you prefer, after the item has been reviewed.
Please note: For an item to be included in the online auction, it must be received no later than Friday, June 25th.
The Lloyd Center's staff served 5,000 students, even in a tumultuous 2020. We held socially-distanced Summer Programs, and are Zooming into local classrooms with our environmental programming.
Sincerely,
Nina W. Weeks
