This spectacular framed print from nationally-celebrated outdoor photographer Darby Hayes features Yosemite’s legendary Half Dome bathed in sunlight. This limited edition print is number 8 of 250. It has been framed by the artist in a rich two-tone wooden frame, measuring 23” x 35” total (the unframed photo measures 16” x 28”).

About Darby Hayes Fine Art Photography
Nationally celebrated outdoor photographer Darby Hayes specializes in fine art landscape and wildlife images of the northern Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Western United States. His nature photographs feature wildlife found in the Western United States, including Alaska, and are composed to bring the viewer into a close-up, personal relationship with the wildlife subject. Mr. Hayes’s landscape photographs feature dramatic lighting, color and artistic composition. His landscape images include local alpine landscapes, as well as iconic images of well-known western areas and National Parks.
Mr. Hayes’s digital images combine a dramatic and artful blend of color, light and composition that goes well beyond the tonal range of conventional film – he is able to produce photographs that represent what he saw and felt, not the limited tonal range inherent to the characteristics and limitations of the camera/film combination.
Since turning professional, his pictures have been well received critically and have been added to the collections of 15 national parks, monuments and forests as well as four museums. Several of his images are currently displayed in the offices of the Director of the National Park Service and the Secretary of the Interior in Washington D.C.
