The Philadelphia International Music Festival (PIMF), a 14-day music program open to students of all ages, is directed by Kimberly Fisher, Principal Second Violin of The Philadelphia Orchestra and
features principal players and other members of The Philadelphia
Orchestra, including Assistant Conductor Cristian Macelaru.
The program is conducted on the estate-like grounds of Bryn Mawr College andincludes private lessons, master classes, and faculty recitals with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, solo
performance opportunities, two concerto competitions, daily private
practice, and more.
Students attending the Philadelphia
International Music Festival select one of four primary
programs: orchestral studies (seven levels), intense solo performance studies, college audition preparation, or piano studies with Hugh Sung, fomer collaborative pianist at the Curtis Institute of Music. Students attend PIMF from throughout the United States and around the world. Program
