Item Description
Learn about patrolling a major river system with an Idaho Department of Fish and Game Conservation Officer.
Trip includes a TWO DAY (one overnight) jet boat trip for TWO PEOPLE on the Main Salmon River below Corn Creek, west of North Fork, Idaho.
The 2009 winning bidder enjoyed the people and found this trip "very informative!"
Winning bidders will observe how officers check anglers on Main Salmon and tributaries for angling success and compliance. There will be viewing opportunities for deer, elk, bear, small game and birds.
TRIP VALID JULY 2010. Day one begins after lunch (bidder provides own lunch). Day 2 patrol down river, learn local history, lunch and return to dock by late afternoon. Dinner on day one will be provided along with breakfast and lunch on day two.
This is rustic camp with the conveniences of a tent, heat and cot. Participants should be in good physical condition and be able to climb in and out of a jet boat and walk along rocky river banks.
This trip is restricted to a maximum total weight limit of 400 pounds (not including personal camp gear) and an age limit of over 12 years of age. Participants must provide own sleeping bag, pad, personal gear, rain and cold weather clothing, binoculars and camera.
Winning bidders must provide own transportation to and from Corn Creek boat launch, which is approximately 44 miles down river from North Fork.
Item Special Note
Winning bidders needs to be in good physical shape and able to climb in and out of a jet boat. Two winning bidders weight cannot exceed a total of 400 pounds. Winning bidders will be contacted by Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation office staff. Dates are non-negotiable.
PLEASE NOTE: In addition to the winning bid price a 3.45% credit card fee, plus 35 cents per transaction will be applied to each item. A 6% Idaho Sales Tax will be added to the final bid price for all land-based trips. For all navigable water-based trips, no sales tax will be charged due to Federal law. All sales are final.
