AD/HD coaching is an ongoing partnership which is goal-directed, results-oriented and systematic in process. By facilitating sustained change through fostering self-directed learning and personal growth, the Coach helps the Coachee live a more effective and satisfying life by deepening their learning, improving their performance, and enhancing their quality of life.

Item Special Note

 

Daniel G. Pruitt, Jr., CPCC, PCC, SCAC,  has, for eight years, been working as a professional coach at Parkaire Consultants, a neurological clinic that serves infants through adults. He helps adolescents and adults with neurological impairments obtain their goals.  He holds the Certified Co-Active Coach designation (CPCC) from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the Professional Certified Coach designation (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and the Senior Certified ADD Coach (SCAC) from the Institute for the Advancement of ADD Coaching (IAAC). He has, for the past four years, been one of the four co-leaders of the ADD SIG on CTI’s Co-Active Network. He was, for two years, a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for the Advancement of ADD Coaching working to establish credentialing standards for the ADD Coaching community. He has been a presenter at local, regional, national and international conferences on the subject of how neurological disorders impact performance and what to do about it. He has served on the Professional Advisory Board for North AtlantaTeaching the Tiger, by Marilyn P. Dornbush, Ph.D., and Sheryl K. Pruitt, M.Ed. He recently started Parkaire Press, a book publishing company. He published Marilyn’s and Sherry’s newest book, Tigers Too, as well as Leslie Packer’s book, Find a Way or Make a Way, and Darin Bush’s book, Tiger Trails. and Central Georgia CHADD and the Board of Directors of the Tourette Syndrome Association of Georgia. He also illustrated and contributed to the book,

 

Dan’s coaching is for independent adolescents and adults who are interested in fixing the impact of their neurological disorders on everyday life.
