This certificate is for a one and 1/2 hour Ladies Tennis Clinic, for members or nonmembers of Blackhawk Country Club.  

These tennis clinics are offered at different times for different levels.  Times may change in June 2010.  

Blackhawk Aces: Are you interested in developing and/or improving your tennis? Would you like to be on a team, but don't know where to begin?  Then the Blackhawk "Aces" is for you!  It is a group designed to be an entry point for anyone interested in participating on a ladies team.  Weekly group clinics are offered. Any beginning lady tennis player is invited to participate. Fridays, 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Sports Complex.

Cardio Tennis: Do you need to work on your strokes and bring up your fitness level?  then this is the clinic for you. You will hit a ton of balls, workout, and have a great time. Fridays, 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Sports Complex.

Stroke of the Week: Each week there is a focus on a specific tennis stroke, with an overview of the featured skill and drills to follow. Afterwards participants compete in games and point play centered on the featured stroke.  This clinic is a great way to improve your game and enjoy yourself at the same time. Fridays, 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Sports Complex.

Strategy/Point Play: The final hour of Trifecta Fridays includes strategic point play drills, followed by full play, with coaching as the players play actual sets. Fridays, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Sports Complex.   

Blackhawk Country Club Tennis

Blackhawk Country Club Tennis offers a wide variety of programs and activities for both the social and competitive player. From league and tournament play to social events, Blackhawk Tennis has what you're looking for. 
Members can enjoy 20 courts with lights at our two tennis facilities in the beautiful foothills of Mt. Diablo. The Tennis Villas  boasts 11 individual courts with refrigerated water fountains and cabanas on each one. The Sports Complex houses 9 courts, featuring a Stadium court that can accomodate up to 1500 spectators.  Each facility has two courts on timers allowing for after- hours play.  The Tennis Villas offers complimentary ball machine use as well as a practice wall to assist our members in keeping their games in tune. In addition, the Villas is home to a full-service Pro Shop to fulfill all of your tennis needs from racquet stringing to special orders. The Sports Complex is home to our  Junior Tennis Program, Olympic-sized swimming pool and Kid Care facility.
Blackhawk Tennis offers an extensive, year-round instructional program at each facility. There are four full-time, USPTA/USPTR certified tennis professionals on staff.  The program includes private, semi-private, group and team lessons as well as ladies, men's and junior clinics.
