"THE SUGAR WITCH" SF Premiere / A Southern Gothic Tale (February 26 - April 4, 2010). Written by Nathan Sanders:- A Florida family confronts madness, truth, and the destructive legacy of racism as the spirits of the dead walk the dark swamp, haunting the hearts of all who reside there. Dark family secrets are revealed, and unusual passions are ignited.
"FUNKY FABLES" (March 13 - April 4, 2010)Adapted by Dyan McBride, Directed by Benjamin Pither:- A wild and wacky adaptation of the classic Greek fables. Come meet the tortoise, the hare, the fox, the stag, and three time travelers who learn from Aesop himself what lessons can be learned from these charming stories written centuries ago. Great for ages 4 and older. Saturdays 2pm & 4pm; Sundays 2pm.
"MASTER CLASS" Drama Tony Award for Best Play, 1996 / Comedy. (March 26 - May 2, 2010). Written by Terrence McNally:- Opera diva Maria Callas, a glamorous, commanding, larger-than-life, caustic, and surprisingly drop-dead funny pedagogue, is teaching a voice master class. Alternately dismayed and impressed by the students who parade before her, she retreats into her recollections about the glories of her own life and career.
"THE NEW CENTURY" West Coast Premiere Comedy. (May 28:- From the playwright who brought us The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Valhalla, and I Hate Hamlet comes a rollicking evening of inter-related stories turning gay stereotypes into bullet-deflecting armor and jokes into an inexhaustible supply of ammunition.
Performance Times: Wednesday through Saturday 8:00 PM; Sunday 2:00 PM *Season schedule and performance times subject to change.
