Item Description
Enjoy helping conduct research on Idaho's biggest and oldest fish - the sturgeon. Spend ONE DAY capturing and tagging sturgeon with an Idaho Department of Fish and Game fisheries biologist in the lower part of Hells Canyon.
This trip for TWO PEOPLE leaves from Lewiston, Idaho. You will view spectacular scenery as you jet boat upstream through white water rapids. Sturgeon are caught and tagged for research with data collected on distribution, age and growth of fish. All gear is provided, but you may want to bring a light spinning rod and bass lures; don’t forget a valid Idaho fishing license. Lunch will be provided.
Trip includes the Red Lion Hotel's generous donation of a ONE ROOM/OVERNIGHT STAY at Lewiston's RED LION HOTEL http://www.redlion.com/lewiston
TRIP AVAILABLE SPRING, SUMMER or FALL 2010. Winning bidder provides transportation to Lewiston.

The winning bidder will be contacted by Idaho Fish and Wildlife Foundation office staff. Trip dates are non-negotiable.
PLEASE NOTE: An additional charge of 3.45 % credit card fee, plus 35 cents per transaction will be applied to the winning bid price of each item. A 6% Idaho Sales Tax will be added to the final bid price for all land-based trips. For all navigable water-based trips, no sales tax will be charged due to Federal law. All sales are final.
