Item Description

This package from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a real collectors item.  Included is a rare 1934 $1,000 dollar bill, a Double Eagle gold coin and an a beautiful mens 38 leather riding jacket autographed by the Trans-Siberian Orchesta.

Item Special Note

The gold content of the Double Eagle was fixed at .9675 oz., equaling its $20 value in gold weight. Prior to 1849, the largest gold piece issued by the U.S. Government had been the $10 gold coin, known as the “Eagle." The new $20 Liberty gold pieces quickly were dubbed “Double Eagles” because they were twice the size and value of the established and popular $10 “Eagles."

The $1,000 bill was used by the Federal Government for large financial transactions. This bill was printed in 1934 which is the year the govermnemt quit printing them and they were taken completelyout of circulation in 1969.
