Item Description
"Most Comprehensive Video on Annie Oakley I've Seen"-editor Daily advocate, Greenville
This is the first documented film about the life of Phoebe
Ann Mosey also known as Annie Oakley. Produced by the Annie Oakley Foundation it is dedicated to her memory.
Annie learned to shoot to feed her family and became the first female Superstar of Sports and Entertainment. She toured the U.S., the UK and Europe as the star of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. The famous Sioux Chief, Sitting Bull, gave her the name "Little Sure Shot." She was always thinking of others and raised funds for an orphanage by melting down and selling her metals. Annie's marksmanship, personality and ethics in sports earned her the respect of royalty and common folk around the world. Remember to "Aim High."
Annie's Motto
Aim at a high mark and you will hit it. No, not the first time, nor the second and maybe not the third. But keep on aiming and keep on shooting for the only practice will make you perfect. Finally you'll hit the Bull's Eye of Success.
