Katherine Taylor is an artist and educator born in Biloxi, Mississippi. Her characteristically autobiographical paintings have been the topic for review in numerous publications. Her work depicts beautiful views of power and vulnerability: the man-made world tied inextricably to symbols of violence in the landscape. Twice featured in New American Paintings, her work has been exhibited in The Albany Museum of Art, The Tubman Museum in Macon, GA. The Atlanta Contemporary and Diverse Works Art Space, in Houston, TX. Taylor is represented by Marcia Wood Gallery.
