Joseph Peragine is an Associate Professor in the Drawing Painting and Printmaking in the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University. Peragine's painting, sculpture and animation have been presented in art venues and film festivals throughout the country and internationally. In 2001, he traveled to Beijing to exhibit work and participate in an international symposium on art and science hosted by Tsing Hua University and the National Gallery of Art of China. Also 2001, the City of Atlanta commissioned a permanent installation for the baggage claim area of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. He is represented by Nancy Solomon Gallery in Atlanta where he will have a solo exhibition this March.
