STUPEFYIN’ JONES
Stupefyin’ is just the word to describe the amazing transformation of this bear into the jaw-dropping figure of Julie Newmar. Her clinging sexy black leotard features black embroidery to simulate the black out-lining of the original cartoons and her under garment is created from a piece of “power knit” that was originally intended for wig caps. Those mile long legs are covered in fish net stockings of course, but this was no easy task since the fabric from the bear’s original legs was of such a heavy pile that it came through the stockings netting. Therefore the legs had to be shaved beforehand and then treated with a mixture of textile medium and water massaged into the remaining pile. The finishing touch is the hand made leather sandals. Topping off our sexpot of Dogpatch is a deliberately tousled wig of custom dyed wefted mohair. Va-va-va-voom!
