Item Description

The winner has their choice of one of the following gardens.

Gardens: 38 plugs per flat and come with a design plan. Butterfly Garden - 15 species
Wildflower garden - 10 species
Grass Garden - 7 species
Raingarden - 10-15 species

All of the species in each garden kit are native Michigan species. Why use native plants, wildflowers, grasses, trees & shrubs in your landscaping? Because they are adapted to Michigan's soils and climate, and they provide food and habitat for our native animals. In addition, you cultivate a greater appreciation of Michigan's natural heritage.

Using native plants encourages a broad array of plants in the landscape, and since these plants are well-adapted to our local growing conditions, they require little or no special treatment after establishment. That means you save, time, money, water and sweat, so you can sit back and enjoy your landscape.

Item Special Note

Winner will pick-up their garden kit at the Eaton Conservation District Native Plant Sale. Eaton Conservation District will mail a certificate to the winner at the close of the auction with details on the Native Plant Sale. Winner will then contact Eaton Conservation District with the garden kit they would like to receive.
