Oliver Lutz lives and works in New York. In 2007 he was the recipient of the IV International Painting Prize Diputación de Castellón, Spain. Upcoming venues include: Tate Modern (London), SFMoMA (San Fransisco), and Jerome Zodo Contemporary (Milan). His work has been exhibited internationally at S.M.A.K. Museum of Contemporary Art (Gent, Belgium), Württembergischer Kunstverein (Stuttgart, Germany), MARTa Museum (Herford, Germany, Artpace (San Antonio, TX), Museo de Bellas Artes de Castellon (Castellon, Spain), The Kitchen (New York, NY), Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (San Francisco, CA), Broad Art Center (Los Angeles, CA), FILTER projectraum (Hamburg, Germany), Apex Art (New York, NY), John Connelly (New York, NY), i8 (Reykjavík, Iceland), Black and White Gallery (New York, NY). Lutz received his Masters degree from MIT Visual Arts Program in 2006. Previously, he attended FAMU - the National Academy of Film and Television (Prague, Czech Republic) while completing his BFA in Painting and Multi-media at Cornell University in 1996.
