Item Description

This intricately composed delicate fern artwork is superimposed on a piece of smoky antique glass, whose microscopic imperfections divulge the considerable age of the underlying substrate glass, although the glass integrity is total.

This piece is derived from the collection of The Corner Store on Sonoma Plaza, which features an elegant and eclectic assortment of linens and other accoutrements to grace the stylish Sonoma country home. The Corner Store offers an incredible array of fabrics, some of which derive from distant lands and would be unlikely to be found in other venues in the USA.

The Corner Store is housed in one of Sonoma’s oldest and historically most significant buildings. In earlier days it was a hardware store carrying everything from hand tools to mattresses and refrigerators. Now it is an inviting spot to discover wonderful additions for the gracious Sonoma Valley home...or for those emulating such a lifestyle. Wonders for the bath, as well as table linens, exotic bed linens and even baby items can be found here.

Item Special Note

Donated by The Corner Store on Sonoma Plaza, this piece is actually part of a suite of three artworks of identical size (19" h x 12.5" w), but different subject composition; others of the three are offered on this WoofBay auction. You are bidding on the item on this page as a single piece. This piece stands strongly on its own, or could be part of a set for the aggressive bidder, who wants to bid on the other piece or pieces.

This artwork is professionally encased in a rich antique gold wooden frame, which is fitted with a sturdy hanging bracket on the reverse side and is totally ready to hang on your wall.
