A day pass access for you and one other guest to the luxury spa and fitness facilities at the Sonoma Mission Inn. The pass entitles you to Bathing Rites & Rituals, use of the state-of-the-Art Fitness Center, participation in most fitness classes, use of deluxe locker room facilities, use of fireplace lounge, and enjoyment of outdoor thermal mineral pools.

THE SPA
For hundreds of years, ancient thermal mineral waters have graced this site.  First revered by Native American and early settlers as a bathing ground, the springs gained popularity among San Franciscans in the 1840s, when a bathhouse emerged to shelter the restorative waters. Generations of travelers have visited this site through the years to 'take the waters' and witness its transfer-mation from a rustic bathhouse to a new elegant Spanish-Mission style Inn in 1927.

Today, The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is proud to be one of the only luxury spa resorts in the country with our own source of thermal mineral water, which flows from 1,100 feet directly beneath the Inn at 135 degrees.

Enhancing Your Spa Experience
From the moment you begin your Spa experience, we want to ensure your comfort. We have provided a few recommendations to enhance your Spa experience.

Access to bathhouse privileges include:

• Use of the signature Bathing Ritual, featuring exfoliating shower, two mineral water soaking pools, herbal steam, dry sauna, and cool down showers.               
• Participation in all scheduled fitness classes.               
• Use of the state-of-the-art fitness center and deluxe locker room facilities.              
• Use of the bathhouse lounge and the outdoor spa loggia.              
• Use of the outdoor thermal mineral pools and whirlpool.

Enjoy our signature Bathing Ritual which is a self-guided experience. This co-ed Bathing Ritual is beneficial on its own or in combination with any of our fabulous spa treatments and is included with spa access.  Bathing suits are required.
 
The Bathing Ritual Experience includes:

Exfoliating Shower - Use the supplied thermal mineral kur shower gel to exfoliate and cleanse your skin.
Warm Bath (Tepiderium) - Ease into the 96-98 degree warm mineral bath.
Hot Bath (Caldarium) - Relax in the 102 degree hot mineral bath with jets.
Re-hydrating Drink - Enjoy a tall glass of water, which is vital for re-hydration.
Cool Shower - Cool your body with a brief shower.
Herbal Steam - Rest in the herbal steam room.
Sauna - Enjoy a few moments in the dry heat of the sauna.
Re-hydrating Drink - Enjoy a tall glass of water, which is vital for re-hydration.
Cool Shower - Cool your body with a brief shower.
Rest - Recline in the serenity of the relaxation lounge as your body renews and restores.
