Located in Woodfords, California, the setting is truly idyllic, bordered by Toiyabe National Forest and North Fork Carson River.  Yet you’re just 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe’s south shore, from Carson City, and 45 minutes from historic Virginia City.  Closer still, you can take in the spirit of the Old West and Nevada’s “Silver Rush” at Genoa, where you’ll find the state’s oldest “Thirst Saloon”.
