Item Description

"This pair of beautiful pink-hued hand blown votives are donated by glassybaby, a Seattle based company that just opened its first New York City store in the West Village.  The company is bringing its mission of giving to NYC by helping raise money for schools and charities.

glassybaby goodwill is one of the ways that the company is giving back. Every year, glassybaby goodwill designates a select group of colors to benefit local and national organizations contributing to cancer patient care and cancer research.

The goodwill program also includes the glassybaby White Light Fund. Started in 2006 by glassybaby founder and cancer survivor Lee Rhodes, the fund has become instrumental in supporting in-patient cancer care at the University of Washington Medical Center. 10% from the sale of each designated color will be donated to different national organizations to support cancer care and research as well as Conservation International and The Martha Stewart Center for Living.

For more information about glassybaby, visit their store at 555 Hudson between 11th and Perry or visit www.glassybaby.com.

"Flowers wilt, chocolates melt, glassybaby forever."
