Everett Hibbard worked for National/DC Comics in the 1940's, where he signed his art as E.E. Hibbard.  He is best known as one of the "Golden Age" Flash artists.  Hibbard retired from comics in 1947 and went to work as a studio artist and sketch man for J. Walter Thompson in TV and print media.  He also became a well-known animal painter and was a member of the Society of Animal Artists.
