Item Description
Explore the mystery of biological aging at the Buck Institute for Age Research, where scientists are working to understand what can be done to address age-related diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's.
As a special feature, your group will meet a member of the internationally respected science staff and have an opportunity for Q&A. In addition, stroll through the soaring atrium designed by world-renowned architect I.M. Pei, see biologists and chemists at work in cutting-edge laboratories, and, if the weather is clear, take in spectacular views of San Pablo Bay and Mt. Diablo.
Campus areas not normally open to the public will be included on this special tour for your group of up to eight people. The institute is located on the eastern slope of Mt. Burdell in Novato, CA.
