The Harvey Girls were a special group of Western women who provided outstanding service at the many Harvey Hotels throughout the scenic West early in the 20th Century. Tina Mion, a featured artist at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery last year, has created an image that conveys both the pride and the wistfulness of the Last Harvey Girl, knowing that she is moving from a vibrant and adventurous life into history. Tina is also the co-owner of the La Posada Hotel in Winslow, AZ, known as the Last Great Railroad Hotel.
