Item Description

A charming aspen trimmed log cabin on 93  acres with the West Fork of the Dolores River running through it, surrounded by National Forest.

Sleeps 6 or more (two bedrooms with queen beds, put out queen couch in from of fireplace, loft with 3 roll up mattresses in second bedroom). 

7 tenths of a mile from Dunton Hot Springs (permission to soak there must be obtained from the resort), 2 miles from Paradise Hot Springs (owner will arrange a soak there), about 1 ½ miles from the trail to Colorado’s only geyser, but many, many hiking tails nearby, including a road half way up the mountain on the property. About 1 hour from town in the summer over the Dunton road, 5 miles past the crest of Lizard Head Pass. Cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen restaurant range and outdoor gas grill, Jacuzzi tub, phone and internet (no cell service), no television service but a set that can be used for movies, stereo, in floor heating and a fireplace/box.  Herbs in the garden. Rusted metal beds. Veranda.   Artwork by Juan Sees Clearly Smith (half Shoshone, half Flathead) Native American Barbie and Ken paper dolls with Native American costumes, and Deborah Bendele of chief Ouray, Chipita, and Chief Colorow.
