What would be a more beautiful addition to your home than a custom made hardwood table made by an expert craftsman?
Sol Lewin of Sterling Hardwoods, in Burlington, VT (and grandparent of Ariella Kuhn, a Brown School first grader), will build you a beautiful South American Mahogany dining table to your dimensional specifications. Details include: Tapered legs, proportional skirt, sanded smooth, your edge specifications. Maximum size 1.25" x 42" x 72" x 36" high.
The table will be pre-assembled or delivered in parts, 6 weeks after auction, as you prefer. All hardware included.
You will need to finish it with your favorite poly, tung oil or other finishes.
Image 1 is an example of what the finished product would look like, with the following modifications:
The top will be thicker, up to 1.25"
the skirts will be straight
the legs will be tapered on two sides
The top edge will be routed to customer's desire: straight, round, ogee, bevel etc.
All edges will be rounded or softened.
Image 2 is a picture of South American Mahogany raw wood for color purposes.

This one-of-a-kind item will be available at our Gala LIVE event ONLY to be held on March 27, 2010 at the Mohawk Golf Club. You must be present at the Gala in order to bid on this item. Tickets are still available. Please visit the home page to purchase tickets or contact gala2010@brownschool.org
A $500 minimum reserve is set on this item (wholesale cost of wood).
Unless otherwise indicated, shipping of items, other than gift certificates, are not included. Winner may either pick up his or her item(s) at Brown School or pay for shipping costs. You must be 21 or older to purchase and receive alcoholic beverages. Positive identification required. Wine and other alcoholic beverages many not be shipped.
