Item Description

Overview
Detroit Red Wing Hockey Puck signed Alex Delvecchio #10 HOF 1977.
Description
For twenty-two full seasons and parts of two others, Alex Delvecchio played center and left wing for the Detroit Red Wings. Upon Delvecchio's retirement, his 1549 games played, 825 assists, and 1281 points ranked second in Detroit Red Wings history, yielding the top spot in those categories to Gordie Howe. Additionally, only 5 other NHLers had ever scored more than his 456 goals at the time of his retirement. Detroit, to honor Delvecchio's many great years of service to the team, city, and fans, retired his sweater number 10 upon his retirement. In 1977, Alex Delvecchio was enshrined, and rightfully so, into Hockey's Hall of Fame.
