Item Description
Materials/ Description of Process: Poster board, card stock, construction paper, feathers, markers, photos, and glue. Ms. Harbottle's 2nd graders explored Audubon's bird theme through art. After studying texture and patterns, they stayed true to the spirit of Audubon and created their very own birdhouses! Afterward, each student created a bird to represent his or herself. Each student's face is attached to the bird he or she created, resulting in 2 framed 30 x 24 collages of Audubon's very own unique 2nd grade birds!
