Item Description
Materials/ Description of Process: 6x6 heavyweight Bristol drawing paper, various. Mediums: pencils, acrylic paints, oil pastels, wax-oils, and drawing markers. Description of Process: Ms. Tuck's brilliant fourth graders invented a new typeface, or font. Each student chose a letter of the alphabet and then illustrated the letter, using its essential shape, imagination, and artistry. The resulting font is a fantastic product of 22 minds creating a unique set. The squares, trimmed to 5x5 are mounted on a 30x36 canvas with Mod Podge adhesive, creating a permanent bond. This futuristic alphabet of fonts deserves a place in your playroom, or office!
