Item Description
Here's an invitation for 8 to 12 people for a private visit to a hidden gem of Novato--the Heslip Family Winery--for hors d'oeuvres, wine-tasting and a tour of the winery. The winery is open to the public by invitation only, so this is a very special invitation indeed!
Coordinate with some friends and treat yourselves to the start of a wonderful evening.
Your hosts, Brian and Colleen Heslip, keen gardeners, fine amateur chefs and food lovers, will introduce you to their limited production wines: Heslip Family Pinot Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and the trademark Sangiovese -- all the result of twenty-five years of wine making for family and friends. They only produce 400 cases of wine per year, so it won't be easy to find these wines anywhere else.
The winery reflects the aesthetic sensibilities of its owners. Over the past 25 years, Brian cultivated his grapes, gained knowledge, refined the art of winemaking and married the lively Colleen. Together they produced many memorable vintages and a fine son. A gregarious couple with a passion for gardening, cooking and entertaining, the family compound soon expanded with a handsome Craftsman style stone building that houses the winery and The Guest House Bed & Breakfast.
