Item Description

This is a contemporary 12x16 original open edition print by Cooksey-Talbott circa 1984.

This was taken with a 4x5 view camera using a 6x9cm roll film holder on VPS color negative film. The negative was scanned to produce a 100 megapixel digital master.

Laminated prints are covered with a UV cut luster laminate and then vacuum mounted on MDB board. The edges are then cut to have a small 1/16” bevel at the top and are covered with black permanent heat sealed binding. This conceals the white edge of the print and the edge of the wood. The binding and bevel make the image appear to have a black hairline around the edge when viewed from the front.

Plaque mounted images are laminated on a 3/8" thick piece of wood with a single keyhole cut for hanging. This is a very attractive contemporary presentation and is a nice gift item.

Prints are made on 230 gsm Lexjet Premium Archival Matte paper with a Epson 9600 printer using the OEM Ultrachrome archival pigment 7 color ink set. This matte surface paper is ideal for framing because the surface of the paper does not have surface reflections when covered with the frames glazing material.

All our prints are first party editions made personally by the artist in his studio in Fremont California. All prints include full provenance in the form of a signed certificate of authenticity and studio invoice.
