Item Description

Winner wins 1 Sam Sweet Cherry and 1 Bing Sweet Cherry Tree from the Eaton Conservation District Spring Tree Sale.  These trees will be bare-root, 4-5 ft tall and will be available for pick-up on April 23rd as part of the district's spring sale. 

Sam Cherry: Large, sweet, firm, jet-black fruit. Resistant to cracking and disease. Upright, spreading tree with nice form. Very hardy. Best for fresh eating. Must be pollinated with another sweet cherry. Semi-dwarf. 

Bing Cherry: Bing cherries are used almost exclusively for fresh market. Wonderful flavor. Bings are large, dark and firm cherries
