Maria Santos Wedding Gown from Edmund Grey Nuptials
- Item Number

Item Description
Maria Santos arrived in Pine Valley in 1993 as neurosurgeon at Pine Valley Hospital. She met and fell in love with Edmund Grey, but their bliss was short lived as they tried and failed to conceive a child. They adopted little Sam, but alas: more trubbs! The marriage survives Maria’s pregnancy – no thanks to Erica Kane - but, alas, Maria’s plane goes down and, assumed dead, returns to Pine Valley as the elusive Maureen Gorman, which, despite the interruptions of Aiden Devane and Zach Slater, leads to a reunion at the alter with Edmund and this fabulous ensemble, circa 2003!
The item is a white satin dress-coat in the Spanish style with a white lace mantilla for the head, usually worn over high-combed hair. There are three white brocade clasps down the front covering a zippered interior vest. The sleeves have zippers reaching large soft satin cuffs and the shoulders are padded in soft foam. The shimmering drapery flows down the back, buttressed by a firm mesh inner slip adding a lustrous finish to a gorgeous silhouette. Created by Euro New York, the gown-coat is a size 2-4.
