Item Description
You can get an inside look at the place where life begins for a Seeing Eye dog; a place that very few people besides employees have ever toured ... the world famous dog guide school's breeding facility.
Located in Chester, N.J., about 12 miles from the main campus, the breeding facility is the birthplace of about 500 puppies each year. The ingenious design of the station ensures that puppies and parents are stress-free, fit, and well-prepared for their future careers.
The day begins with a private tour-for-two at the main campus in Morristown, complete with lunch with staff in the school's dining room. Next you'll be driven to the breeding station, where the two of you will receive a complete tour, led by Attending Veterinarian and Director of Canine Medicine and Surgery Dr. Dolores Holle. This, of course, will include some play-time with puppies in the special playroom designed to introduce pups to the sounds, textures, and experiences of the world they soon will encounter.
And be sure to decide which puppies most pull at your heartstrings, because you will have the chance to be photographed with one or more of these very special canines! You'll also receive a framed photo of the event (Frame donated by Rios' Engraving of Morristown).
An additional gift for you will include a tote bag of Seeing Eye merchandise plus a copy of Seeing Eye graduate Justin Kauflin's new Jazz CD.
Item Special Note
Participants must be 15 years or older.
