Item Description
Join amphibian researcher Jennifer Sevin, Managing Director of Capacity Building and Academic Programs at the Smithsonian Conservation Biolgoy Institute, as she studies the endangered Shenandoah salamander in Shenandoah National Park. Up to four people will be able to spend half a day with Jennifer and learn about her research, see these amazing creatures and learn about the global amphibian crisis. The Shenandoah salamander is found only on three mountaintops in Shenandoah National Park.
Item Special Note
Must be used between end of May and early October of 2010; people must be able to hike and be on rocky terrain.
