Item Description
Dress up any room with four big, 18-inch-square black and brown African mudcloth pillows. Mudcloth is made by Bamana tribeswomen in Mali. No two pieces are alike. Each tells a story; each pattern has a meaning. Locally-grown cotton is spun, washed, and hand-woven, then dyed with iron-rich, fermented mud. Many steps, including bleaching, follow, to create these unique works of art.
