Item Description
"New Mexico Colors," a 1975 original watercolor by Eloise Franklin, painted on location. Eloise, her husband and two children became members of University Park United Methodist Church in 1949. She was active in the WSCS which later became UMW as well as other church activities. She loved painting, and was inspired to lead art classes at the church in the early 1970s -- she felt great pleasure when she could share this gift. At present, there are eleven members of her family active in this congregation -- this includes four great grandchildren in the youth program. She would be delighted to know that, through her art, she can support them.
