SEED - The potential of being.

Seed for thought, seed money, seeds of peace, the start of life........the possibility of so much.

This is a gold casting of a beech seed found in Central Park. Hand finished to bring out its innate quirky beauty and modified with a small jump ring so it can be worn as a pendant.

A reminder that a simple idea, nourished, can grow infinitely.

From the artist's website on her Twig/Organic Collection:

Have you ever seen something ordinary yet so profoundly beautiful that you wish you could freeze the moment in time? This collection celebrates the quiet magnificence of our natural world. Exquisite details and clean shapes are a visual metaphor of how interwoven we are with our environment. Branches, molded from actual foliage gathered in Central Park are cast in recycled gold and silver, shaped and accented by shimmering stones, from deep within our earth.

Jewelry in dialogue with nature.
