Item Description
Give your child access to an amazing resource for people who stutter with a one-on-one speech stuttering evaluation through one of America's leading organizations for people who stutter, the American Institute for Stuttering.
Clinicians (speech-language pathologists) at the American Institute for Stuttering regularly attend and present at professional conferences, workshops and seminars, and are well educated in the most current practices in evaluating and treating children who stutter. Because of this expertise, they are able to personalize evaluation and intervention strategies to meet the individual needs of each child and his/her family. Some of the current therapy approaches our clinicians use include the Palin Parent Child Interaction therapy, the Lidcombe Program, and the Parent/Child Training Program.
Stuttering is a complex, multidimensional disorder that requires a whole person, multi-faceted approach, and the Institute's whole person philosophy will be apparent in the sessions.
