Professional track and field sprint athlete, Allyson Felix, won gold and silver in the Beijing Olympics in 2008, silver in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, and gold in the 2005, 2007 and 2009 World Championships. She is the only woman ever to be a three-time Athletics World Championship gold medalist for distance. A native of Southern California, she sees her running ability as a gift of God. "My faith is the reason I run - it calms my heart and makes everything feel like a lift," she says. Denver artist Sophie Levine created her mask to represent her gold and silver wins and the colors of the Olympic rings.
