Eduardo Arnal was appointed Consul General of Mexico in Denver by President Felipe Carderon in 2007. His mask is a replica of the 1941 painting made famous by the well-known Mexican artist Frida Kahlo: Me and My Parrots. Kahlo (1907 - 1954) is best known for her self-portraits which are filled with the bright colors and forms of Mexican folk art.
This mask comes with 2tickets to the VIP reception celebrating the Bicentennial of the Independence of Mexico, Sept. 15, 2010 -- the Consulate's biggest event of the year.
