Item Description

Your Child's Story Performed by the STORY PIRATES!

This voucher entitles you to reserve a party of up to 6 people for one of our upcoming shows where you can see your own child's story performed!  (The 6 tickets may also be applied toward the cost of our popular birthday parties at our theater!).

The Story Pirates present a musical sketch comedy show inspired by stories written by kids. We use big furry monsters, Viking costumes, flying cats, and sacks of treasure, creating an experience that has adults a laughing out loud and that shows kids the power of writing in a way they'll never forget.

If you’re new to The Story Pirates, here’s how it works: Send us a story written by your elementary school aged child. The story can be any length and about any topic. We’ll choose a date with you and you can invite your friends to watch as our troop of professional actors and comedians performs an adaptation of the story in our weekly Saturday show. Your child will be the one of our featured authors and treated like a celebrity.

Being the featured author is a big honor. On top of having his or her story performed in front of a an audience and of friends and fans, your child will have the opportunity to have a picture taken and placed on our Author Wall of Fame, as well as receive a certificate during an on-stage ceremony conducted at the end of the show.

All told, the package is worth over $120, but the real value is much more than that. It’s a once in a lifetime experience.

We perform throughout the year each Saturday at 2pm – and select performances over the summer - at The Drama Book Shop (250 W. 40th btw 7th and 8th).
