Item Description
Can’t find the time to do something just for you?!
We can help you fix that!
The lucky winner of this package will have the Yoga Come To Them!!
This is a great way for a novice to begin Yoga instruction and for the experienced to stretch skill and knowledge. Hatha Yoga is more traditional in nature and is a combination of relaxation, flexibility, strength and breath work techniques.
The 3 private sessions, each lasting between 75 and 90 minutes, will be tailored to your specific skill level and goals. Lessons will take place in the buyer's residence, at your convenience.
Each session will include work on balance poses (to improve it), inverted poses (to bring blood to the brain and relieve the heart for a few minutes), body awareness and breath awareness. The meditation techniques improve heart and breathing and provide relaxation tips that can be used afterward.
Novices may worry that there will be poses too complicated for them to achieve -- not so! Emily Guthrie has been actively practicing Hatha Yoga most of her life and teaching for the past 12 years in Evanston. She is passionate about her practice and instructs her students carefully in order to cultivate their skill. Emily said it better however:
“There is no "pretzel stuff" in my beginning classes but if the people want it, we can do pretzel stuff!”
Item Special Note
This package will be restricted to residents living within a reasonable distance of Evanston. Dates and times will be decided upon between the winning bidder and Ms. Guthrie; contact information to be furnished at close of auction.
