Item Description
The winner of this unique opportunity will be entitled to spend a complete day in the kitchen at Charlie Trotter's as the Guest Chef-For-A-Day. Go behind the scenes and gain an intimate view of a fine dining restaurant in action; and not just as an observer.
You will be given basic food preparation training and actually work with the the staff on the line. You will experience a thrilling evening while participating in the creation of world famous cuisine. You are also invited to participate in the daily staff meal at 3:30 p.m. and attend the pre-service staff meeting.
The winner of this incredible experience should plan on being at Charlie Trotter's from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. although you can stay as long as you wish.
Item Special Note
Be sure to wear comfortable and casual clothing including shoes or sneakers -- no open toed shoes or sandals -- since you will be on your feet much of the time. Shorts, skirts and dresses are strictly forbidden. You will be provided with a chef's cooking jacket and apron. Please refrain from using any cologne or fragrance that day since aroma is an important part of food preparation. For safety and sanitary reasons, any participant who fails to comply with the dress code will not be allowed into the kitchen until their attire is amended and in full compliance. Please note that if you plan to join friends later for dinner or dessert, please bring a more formal change of clothing.
