BIOGRAPHY
Stephan Lugbauer is the co-founder of SAPROPHYT project, a space dedicated to artistic interventions and exhibitions in Vienna. His most recent shows include The Mackeys Final Project at the MAK Center for the Arts and Architecture in Los Angeles and Videorama at the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York (2010) and at the KUNSTHALLE Wien, Vienna (2009); Sleepwalking at the Temporary Gallery in Köln (2009); Palast der Schönen Kunste at Galerie Amer Abbas, Vienna; and ¡Viva la Muerte! at the Centro Atlantico de Arte Moderno, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (2008) and KUNSTHALLE wien, Vienna (2007). He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in 2003 after studying Architecture at the Technical University. He now lives and works in Vienna.
