BIOGRAPHY
Roger Herman has exhibited his work nationally and internationally for over 25 years. Born in Saarbruecken, Germany, he received his MFA from the Akademie der Bildenden Kuenste in Karlsruhe. He has received a DAAD Grant from Germany as well as two NEA grants. His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions at venues such as LACMA; Museo del Arte Contemporaneo, Mexico City; Sezon Museum inTokyo; Art Museum of São Paulo, Brazil; American Center in Paris and the San Fransisco Museum of Modern Art. Much of his work is part of private and public collections, including those of LACMA; the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; Albertina in Vienna, Austria; and Museo del Arte Contemporaneo, Mexico City. He is currently a Professor of Fine Arts at UCLA.
