BIOGRAPHY
Andrew Bush explores the intricate relationships between personal identity and personal possessions in his artwork. His works are in numerous public collections, including those of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA and the International Center of Photography in New York; LACMA; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. Since the mid-1980s Bush's work has been seen in solo exhibitions throughout the U.S. for over twenty years, appearing in Angles Gallery in Los Angeles, Julie Saul Gallery in New York, Robert Klein in Boston and Roger Ramsey Gallery in Chicago, among others. His work has also been featured in group exhibitions at the California Museum of Photography; Sean Kelly Gallery and White Columns Gallery in New York, Davis Statlich Kunsthalle in Baden-Baden, LACMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Bush received his MFA in photography from Yale University. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
