BIOGRAPHY
In a review for Art Forum, Michael Ned Holte writes, "For more than a decade, [Michele] O'Marah has been working in the geographic and economic shadows of Hollywood and has lavished attention on many of its forgotten or soon-to-be forgotten products and by-products." O'Marah has exhibited widely, with one- and two-person exhibitions at Mary Goldman Gallery, Cottage Home and Mandarin Galley in Los Angeles; Institute of Contemporary Art, Portland; London Institute of Contemporary Art; Copenhagen Second Street Gallery; Art Basel; and Rental Gallery in New York, among others. O'Marah's work is part of the permanent collection of MOCA, Los Angeles. She received her BFA from the Tyler School of Fine Arts, Philadelphia.
