BIOGRAPHY
Marked by the artist's dexterity and commitment to materiality, Olga Koumoundouros' provocative artworks engage ideas of labor, class and human sustenance. Koumoundouros has exhibited her work widely in the U.S. and abroad, with solo exhibitions at Adamski Gallery in Aachen, Germany; Solo Presentation in Cologne; Gallery D 300 in Valencia; and Immo Gallery in Los Angeles. Her work has also been featured in group exhibitions at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; UCLA Hammer Museum; Soap Factory, Minneapolis; and Ohala Gallery, Los Angeles, among others. Koumoundouros received her MFA from CalArts. She lives and works in Los Angeles where she is represented by Susan Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects.
